E-BOT 1.07 LEGACY Is Released!

This is fine tuned version of ebot 1.07, now it can download waypoints from internet and few more performance improvements.

 

Fixed Bugs:

  • First bot never had a ping
  • Bots start moving slower on too high fps values (higher than 500)
  • Fixed analyzer crash on linux
  • Fixed bots not moving on linux

E-BOT 1.07 Is Released!

  Changelog: 

  • Added: Official Linux Build!
  • Added: CMakeLists.txt for building linux
  • Added: Half-Life support and for now deathmatch only, works on Opposing Force too but bots cant use new weapons
  • Added: New waypoint analyzer, works like NavMesh
  • Added: If map doesn't have waypoints ebot will automatically start generating waypoints, useful for servers
  • Removed: SSE2 support, fallback to Q3 algorithm
  • Fixed: Pathfinding Cost calculated wrongly and causing more cpu usage
  • Fixed: Bots aiming upper head and missing shots
  • Fixed: Bots do not pickup weapons & hostages
  • Fixed: Sometimes human bots do not escape if zombie is near
  • Changed bot nav handling for performance
  • Improved gameplay for base modes

Known Bugs:

First bot never had a ping
Bots start moving slower on too high fps values (higher than 500)
Linux version MUST be compiled with CLANG compiler to get it work, otherwise game will CRASH when bots see/attack enemy

E-BOT 1.06 Is Released!

  • Added: ebot_avoid_grenades CVar

  • Added: Better breakable check
  • Added: Now teammate bots will help destroying breakables
  • Added: "ebot setentityaction" command, with this you can make bot attack/avoid/pickup custom entities (e.g sandbags)
  • Added: If path cannot reachable/map is bad waypointed pathfinding will select random possible waypoint to go
  • Removed: All API & SwNPC stuff
  • Fixed: All known crash issues
  • Fixed: FallCheck waypoint not working properly
  • Fixed: Bots slowdown when current waypoint is too close
  • Fixed: Zombies goes backwards when close to target human
  • Fixed: Zombies can't throw grenades
